Anchor Retrieval Solutions (Chandlers Direct) has been supplying the Australian designed ANKA YANKA anchor retrieval system since 2004 and are the appointed UK and European Distributors.

The management team have 70 years of boating experience primarily gained in the Bristol Channel in both Power Boats and Sailing Craft. We offer a friendly and efficient service and source products not readily available in the UK on a global basis.

Making A Purchase MAKING A PURCHASE

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept card payments. If you are shopping from the United Kingdom, Channel Islands and Republic of Ireland, place your order and your card company will convert the transaction to £GBP Sterling or Euro being your own currency if you order from the Republic of Ireland.

We accept Visa and MasterCard. We use SAGE PAY to clear your payment and this takes 24hrs after receipt of order. All orders placed undertake fraud screening on payment details submitted. All products have a quoted delivery leadtime in working days as sometimes we do not have the items in stock and we have to provision for our preferred suppliers delivery leadtime and our delivery leadtime to deliver to you. If you do not wish to pay online, you may send your card information via phone, or you may send Crossed Cheques (Please allow 10 working days to clear) and Postal Orders made payable to Anchor Retrieval Solutions by post. Once your cheque and Postal Order has been cleared for payment we will supply your order within our quoted delivery leadtime.

If there is a problem with availability of product you have a placed an order for we will notify you immediately with a revised delivery leadtime or an alternative with no compromise on Quality. Please note that your agreement to any change or cancellation needs to be confirmed via email.

If for any reason there is a problem with your card payment we advise you as soon as possible and arrange an alternative form of payment with your agreement. If you are unable to do this we will cancel your order with no liability.

If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake.

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

SAVE ON SHIPPING!

You can save on shipping rates by having your order shipped to a commercial address (for example, your place of business, a marina, local store, or most commercial establishments.) By sending your package to a commercial address, your delivery is more secure as it is signed for and not exposed to weather conditions. Whether you choose standard service or expedited delivery to a commercial address, you will save the residential fee premium as and when applicable.

UK POSTAL SERVICE

When shipping to a P.O. Box Address, Parcels must be shipped via Royal Mail ONLY.

HOW IS THE SHIPPING WEIGHT CALCULATED?

Actual, dimensional, oversize, or minimum package weights may be used to determine the rate for a shipment. Dimensional (volumetric) calculations generally only apply to expedited orders.

DIMENSIONAL (VOLUMETRIC) WEIGHT FOR AIR SHIPMENTS

If there is any difference between the declared weight and the volumetric weight, you will be charged the higher amount. You should then use the greater of the volumetric or actual weight for each package in order to get a total consignment weight. Package 1 has an actual weight of 3kg. 30cm x 32cm x 15cm divided by 6000 = 2.4kg,therefore actual weight will be used. Package 2 has an actual weight of 5kg. 40cm x 30cm x 50cm divided by 6000 = 10kg therefore volumetric weight will be used. Total chargeable consignment weight = 3kg + 10kg = 13.0kg.

DIMENSIONAL (VOLUMETRIC) WEIGHT FOR PALLETS

To calculate the volumetric weight multiply the dimensions of the pallet base in cm and then multiply the result by the height (using 240cm if non-stackable). Divide the answer by 3000 to calculate the volumetric chargeable weight.

OTHER SHIPPING INFORMATION:

All Shipments require a signature for delivery.

You may request a shipping method other than Anchor Retrieval Solutions (Chandlers Direct) standard service, however, the shipping and handling rates charged may be higher than our standard rates published here.

Shipping fees are non-refundable. If you choose to use your own carrier then there is a £10.00 handling fee for each parcel or £25.00 per truck shipment.

Shipping information pertains to UK Mainland and Isles including Northern Ireland, Channel Islands and Republic of Ireland. International shipping is available - just ask!

HAZARDOUS MATERIALS:

Due to the continual changes and alterations regarding the rules and regulations which govern the transportation of hazardous goods, Anchor Retrieval Solutions (Chandlers Direct) may be required to re quote for the cost of delivery of some items which are classified as being hazardous. Every effort is made to ensure that the delivery prices quoted at the time of order are accurate and correct but there may be occasions when either the package contents or the delivery location will require us to amend the delivery cost for which you will have been originally charged. You will be contacted by a Customer Service Representative to seek agreement and authorisation to any price adjustment before any charges are made. Items such as Flares will incur a surcharge of £20.00 in addition to the standard delivery charge.


INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

There may be duties and taxes (VAT or other non-shipping charges incurred in the destination country) imposed on your order that are not reflected in our prices. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Check with your local Customs and Excise Office for those charges. Examples being import duties and VAT (Value Added Tax). In addition, some countries may charge an additional handling fee for delivery within that country.


IMPORTANT NOTES:

We generally charge all shipping related fees for the complete order at the time of the first shipment.
With few exceptions, no additional delivery fees are charged for back ordered items when shipped.
Insurance is included for the total value of each shipment. Final shipping costs are calculated per package and are determined by actual or dimensional (Volumetric) weight, destinations, contents and carrier service used.

All orders placed Monday - Friday, for next day or second business day delivery will be processed after clearance of funds from preferred payment method. Credit Cards and Debit Cards take 24 Hours for Fraud and Credit Checks and Crossed Cheques made payable to Anchor Retrieval Solutions take up to 10 working days to clear so another preferred option is a Postal Order made payable to Anchor Retrieval Solutions.

Delivery times are subject to carrier imposed schedules.


SHIPMENT AND PACKAGING COSTS

We charge all packaging at cost and in line with our environmental policy we recycle and use suitable packaging when available to ship your order to you in good condition. By undertaking this policy we are able to keep our shipment costs to an absolute minimum.
Delivery Schedule We aim deliver your order right away after clearance of funds. However, if there has been a large demand for some product lines and we do not have physical stock in all cases the standard delivery leadtime quoted in the product details applies. We consolidate customer shipments and it is only in exceptional circumstances that we will ship part deliveries and this would be with sole agreement of the customer representative and Anchor Retrieval Solutions (Chandlers Direct) customer services department.

We will normally send your order to you in the quoted delivery leadtime for each product quoted in business days listed in product information on the website.

Our standard International orders are generally received in under 2 working days via Parcelforce International Service taking into consideration 24hr period for payment clearance and fraud screening checks and standard delivery leadtime quoted for each Product Part Number.

You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.

We want you to be a satisfied customer, and we need your help to maintain our low prices. Unopened products in the original packaging may be returned within 30 days for a full exchange or refund of value of goods purchased. There will be a administration fee of 10% of the order value to cover the cost of refunding monies via the Credit/Debit Card Company for which payment has been made. In all cases the customer is wholly responsible for the safe delivery and all costs including insurance for all returned goods.

Electronics, software, and electronic charts in their original, unopened packaging, and ready-to-be-sold condition can be returned within 10 days from receipt for a full refund of the order value which will incur an administration fee of 10% of the order value to cover the cost of refunding monies via the Credit/Debit Card Company for which payment has been made.

The following re-stocking fees shall apply as follows based on the cost of inspection, repackaging, and restocking for unused items not returned in their original condition within the 30 days as follows:

£100 Nett shall have a Restocking Fee of 30%
£101 to £200 Nett shall have a Restocking Fee of 40%
£201+ Nett shall have a Restocking Fee of 50%

Unfortunately, we can not accept returns older than 30 days.

Please note that some items are not returnable: Inflatable Boats, Outboard Motors, Life Rafts, Kayaks, Trailers, Made to Measure Goods, Clearance Line items, Discontinued Lines and Custom Made Items or Special Orders. If any of these items are found to be damaged or defective, you must notify us within 10 days from receipt for replacement and both Parties will agree a speedy remedy to rectify the situation.

If you do need to return an item to us, please email our Customer Service Department at sales@anchoryanka.com or phone on +44 (0) 29 20 630 583 in order to request a Return Authorisation (RAN) Number.

Repack the product in the original packaging and place inside a box suitable for shipping with all the original enclosures, parts, and accessories.

Write the RAN number clearly and discreetly on the outside of the package.

Return the Package fully paid by the Customer as we do not accept C.O.D. with the appropriate insurance.

No packages will be accepted if exterior packaging is damaged. All Goods must be in mint condition and in the original labelled packaging and enclosed within a shipping carton and this must include all packaging material. Goods returned without a RAN Number will be refused, and the carrier will charge you freight in both directions.

You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.
Back Orders You can order with confidence that all the items that you order are in stock. However, unforeseen demand occasionally results in items being out of stock. If at time of order an item is not in stock, our customer service department will contact you. Our general leadtime for replacement stock is 10 to 15 working days and if you agree we will put it on order for you and these will be shipped as soon as we receive them from our suppliers. We do have a policy of shipping orders in one shipment wherever possible and you will be advised of a delivery date by customer services and your order will be shipped on a next day basis in accordance to agreed despatch date.

Tax Charges Anchor Retrieval Solutions (Chandlers Direct) is not currently VAT registered and as such there is no VAT added to all selling prices on the website.
Credit Card Security When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our contract partner SAGE PAY who handle all the necessary transfer of funds and fraud screening checking facilities. Anchor Retrieval Solutions (Chandlers Direct) do not have acesss to your credit/debit card information.They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Electronically your private account information is NOT directly connected to the Internet. It sits behind a firewall. The firewall ensures that the sensitive information stored on the customer server is not available to unauthorised computers. It only allows certain messages from authorised computers through. The firewall we are using is a recognised industry standard. You communicate with Anchor Retrieval Solutions (Chandlers Direct) through your computer's Web browser. Your browser is a critical piece of our security infrastructure. We only support browsers that use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) 3.0 or higher. Your browser will handle these interactions automatically, so you do not have to take any extra steps to be protected. All financial details supplied by the Customer is processed via SAGE PAY who are an approved financial clearance house for Visa, Mastercard, Delta and Switch Credit and Debit Cards and all necessary financial and credit score checks are made to ensure that there is no fraudulent transaction being conducted. No financial information pertaining to credit card or debit card details are held by Anchor Retrieval Solutions (Chandlers Direct) for all orders placed on the E-Shop. However, all telephone orders are processed manually using SAGE PAY for clearance of payment and all credit card details are destroyed after data has been inputted into the SAGE PAY Clearance System on a real time basis. We encourage in all instances wherever possible for our Customers to place orders on line.

No security system in the world can prevent leakage or misuse by those who neither respect nor abide by the rules of security and privacy. There was fraud before the internet and it is no surprise that fraud arises with this new means of communication. Preserving the privacy of our customers' financial data requires your diligence and common sense.

We urge our customers to use care in communicating private financial information. Warranty Information

The items we sell are covered by manufacturer’s warranties. In some cases, the manufacturer requires that you send the item to them directly for further action. Some manufacturers reserve the right to repair or replace at their discretion.

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.
You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 7 working days for a full refund, including the cost of delivery. Do this by contacting us by email or telephone and quoting the order number supplied to you. Your refund will be paid within 30 days. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.

All financial details supplied by the Customer is processed via SAGE PAY who are an approved financial clearance house for Visa, Mastercard, Delta and Switch Credit and Debit Cards and all necessary financial and credit score checks are made to ensure that there is no fraudulent transaction being conducted. No financial information pertaining to credit card or debit card details are held by Anchor Retrieval Solutions (Chandlers Direct) for all orders placed on the E-Shop. However, all telephone orders are processed manually using SAGE PAY for clearance of payment and all credit card details are destroyed after data has been inputted into the SAGE PAY Clearance System on a real time basis. We encourage in all instances wherever possible for our Customers to place orders on line.

Returns Policy Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.

You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 7 working days for a full refund, including the cost of delivery. Do this by contacting us by email or telephone and quoting the order number supplied to you. Your refund will be paid within 30 days. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.

Any goods returned should be in saleable condition.

You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.

We want you to be a satisfied customer, and we need your help to maintain our low prices. Unopened products in the original packaging may be returned within 30 days for a full exchange or refund of value of goods purchased. There will be a administration fee of 10% of the order value to cover the cost of refunding monies via the Credit/Debit Card Company for which payment has been made.

Electronics, software, and electronic charts in their original, unopened packaging, and ready-to-be-sold condition can be returned within 10 days from receipt for a full refund of the order value which will incur an administration fee of 10% of the order value to cover the cost of refunding monies via the Credit/Debit Card Company for which payment has been made.

The following re-stocking fees shall apply as follows based on the cost of inspection, repackaging, and restocking for unused items not returned in their original condition within the 30 days as follows:

£100 Nett shall have a Restocking Fee of 20%
£101 to £200 Nett shall have a Restocking Fee of 30%
£201+ Nett shall have a Restocking Fee of 40%

Unfortunately, we can not accept returns older than 30 days.

Please note that some items are not returnable: Inflatable Boats, Outboard Motors, Life Rafts, Kayaks, Trailers, Made to Measure Goods. The items we sell are covered by manufacturer’s warranties. In some cases, the manufacturer requires that you send the item to them directly for further action. Some manufacturers reserve the right to repair or replace at their discretion.

Please note that some items are not returnable: Clearance Line items, Discontinued Lines and Custom Made Items or Special Orders. If any of these items are found to be damaged or defective, you must notify us within 10 days from receipt for replacement.

If you do need to return an item to us, please email our Customer Service Department at sales@anchoryanka.com or phone on +44 (0) 29 20 630 583 in order to request a Return Authorisation (RAN) Number.

Repack the product in the original packaging and place inside a box suitable for shipping with all the original enclosures, parts, and accessories.

Write the RAN number clearly and discreetly on the outside of the package.

Return the Package fully paid by the Customer as we do not accept C.O.D. with the appropriate insurance.

No packages will be accepted if exterior packaging is damaged. All Goods must be in mint condition and in the original labelled packaging and enclosed within a shipping carton and this must include all packaging material. Goods returned without a RAN Number will be refused, and the carrier will charge you freight in both directions.

You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.

Remittance Terms All goods and services offered and provided which are provided via the E-Shop shall be payable immediately in advance and be subject to clearance and fraud screening checks by SAGE PAY who act as a Clearance House on behalf of the banks transferring funds for payment of goods and services.
